PARENTS & YOUNG ADULTS • BOULDER & DENVER

Helping parents change what isn't working with their adult child, without trading away the relationship.

I coach parents on the kind of support that actually moves things. And because I spent eight years working directly with young adults, I can work with your son or daughter too.

Eight years in behavioral health, mentoring young adults and coaching families to strengthen the relationship.

Some parents work with me alone. Sometimes I work with the young adult directly. Most often it's both, which is what lets me see the whole picture instead of one side of it.

Most of what we work on comes down to a few things. Where support turns into enabling. Conversations that keep going the same way. Holding onto progress after a program ends.

How I help

I get to know your family's history and dynamics firsthand. The person you talk to on the first call is the person doing the work.

What families say

“We'd been having the same argument for two years. David didn't tell us to stop having it. He showed us what we were actually arguing about.”

Cynthia V.

“I called about my son. Most of the work turned out to be about me. That was uncomfortable and it was the right call.”

Thomas R.

“I don't know where our daughter would be without David. He supported her with getting back on track with school.”

Rachelle S.
